Ladies Bowls

Tribute to Eileen and Shirley

A tribute was paid to Eileen Proctor last week as she is relocating to Perth.

Eileen has been a member of our Club since April 2008 and a very willing helper around the traps. Some of her volunteering included match room, kitchen duties, Friday night raffles, bingo roster and corporate bowls duties among others.

Eileen is a very keen bowler with her name on the Championship Board a number of times and played regularly in second division. Eileen will represent the Club in a team of triples in the Murray league next week.

Another very well respected Lady member of our Club, Shirley Mulcahy, manages to slip away without fanfare recently. Shirley joined in December 2004 so was a past graduate of the fifteen year membership group.

Shirley played at first division level and was in several Championship teams over the years. Shirley worked on the Match Committee and was a very enthusiastic promoter of the Club Song, wanting it broadcast at high octane after every win.

Thank you to both Ladies from Halls Head Bowling Club.
