BPL Qualifier Winners
Bob Plater, Peter Cole and Rod Gumbleton won their section of the BPL Cup Qualifier held at Mandurah on Friday Night, 21st August.
The Halls Head team combined brilliantly on the Mandurah Carpet surface being undefeated in their section.
This is quite a feat because in this format, which is gaining massively in popularity, you are never really in complete control of a game, nor are you ever really without a chance.
The team didn’t even have to rely on their Power Plays, because unfortunately they didn’t jag the right call all night.
The team now moves into the Regional Finals to compete for a spot in the State Finals later this year.
The winner of the State finals are scheduled to go and represent WA in the National Final, to be played alongside the BPL at Moama, New South Wales in February.
