ANZAC Day 2022

ANZAC Day 2022 at Halls Head Bowling Club was more than just a very successful day of bowling.

As part of the celebration the Brockmans did the honours with the commemoration. Ladies Secretary Jeanette Brockman, former Corporal Brockman following five years of service in the WRAAC, recited the ode. Rod Brockman, former Corporal Brockman following fifteen years in the Australian army, raised the flag.

Background support was from Robyn White and Merle Rogers.

Bowls was another full house of fifty two pairs of any gender bowls. On this occasion Matt Trewhella and Peter Cole Came in first.

The Heckingbottom family of David and Larraine came in second

and the Young ones of Richard and Linda Young came in third.

Consolation prize went to Sadie and Dennis Gilpin.

Best Dressed by a long way went to Matt and John Trewhella, Chris Hoff, Graham Bishop and the Heckingbottoms.
