The Eight Teams

It was a good day for Halls Head Bowling with two teams scoring an eight in their Saturday pennants competition.

Second division red (2/1) team of  Denis Rubery, Peter Jamieson, Stewart Foster and Paul Harris had a tough battle with Dudley Park while picking up the eight and winning by ten points. Overall the division won 7 points (100 shots) to 1 point (67 shots), a good lead up to the finals in two weeks.

Then came the fourth division team of Alister Broughton, Colonel Wayne Sanders, Eric Smith and Ian Thompson with a blistering 38 to 3 win including an eight win over Comet Bay. A great effort and another good lead into the finals in two weeks. The overall win here was 6 points (84 shots) to 0 points (35 shots).

Well done both groups.
