Night Bowls off to a Good Start

Night bowls Super 9’s started well with a good crowd. A first night effort of around ninety bowlers braved a cold and windy night to have a great time with good company to try Neil Watson’s Super 9’s Series.

First of the prize winners was a team of Bob Irvine, Murray McDonald and Chris Hill who managed to learn the scoring system and must have picked their “power game” at the right time.

Thanks to sponsor of the series, Club Member Wayne Langborne, Principal of Sage Logistics. Wayne describes the business as travel agent for boxes, being as he is in the import / export business.

Thanks must also go to the organising committee of Neil Watson, Alan Hunter, Dinny Berson, John Parker and head chef “Hamberger” Harry Williams.

Come along on Mondays, starts at 6-30 pm, finishes about 9-00. Sure beats watching telly.
