Mixed Pairs Championship 2021/22

The finals of the both the Major and the Plate Mixed Pairs were completed on Sunday with two exciting games. The major, won by Mary Johnson and Barry Starbuck saw great bowls from all the players. Jeni Stretton and Peter Nicolay who won this event last year pushed Mary and Barry right to the end.

The Plate had an amazing finish with a draw after 17 ends. This resulted in a one end play off with Mike Gittens and Jacki Henry winning a very close measure over Harry and Sandra Williams to take out the Plate.

The Sun sets in the background as the Plate Finals is extended into an 18th end.
