Men’s Two Day Carnival 2021
Once again a great event was conducted for the Men’s Two Day Carnival lead by Max Hughes with considerable assistance from Doug Myer and Margaret Hall.
Special thanks to Grant Wilshire of MANDURAH CARAVAN AND RV CENTRE , who was here on the day to present the prizes, our major Club and event sponsor. Grant had caravans and bunting on site to create a great carnival atmosphere. Our other sponsor SPORTSPOWER of PINJARRA was selling bowling merchandise in the hall.
The event ran well, the food was excellent and the weather was perfect. The format was the same as previous years with day one results to determine rankings into four divisions and day two a fight for final placings. Prizes were given out in all divisions. The system meant you could still fight for a prize even if you were last on the first day.
The winner on the day was a team of Simon Alden, Arthur Bartlett, Bernie Hett and Karl Van Derswys. This team was the only team in division one to win all three games on day two. Second place went to Rob Tiller, John Trewhella, Steve O’Brien and Matt Trewhella. Third place to Connell Biddle, Wayne Langborne, Simon Towers and John Smart.
A great deal of thanks to all of the helpers with a special mention to Judy for stepping in for Marg after a trip-up in the hall.
