Men’s Fours Championship 2021-22

The Halls Head Bowling Club Men’s Fours Championship 2021-22 played over the last two Sundays was completed on Sunday. With the new format of selecting the sides via a points-based system, we saw 19 teams competing for the trophy.

The finals of the major was a close fought game with Bruce Walter, Lindsay Brown, Noel Jarvis OAM and Les Saunders victorious over Norrie Conduit’s side of Simon Towers, Ian Thompson and David Matheson. With a comfortable lead into the penultimate end, a wick from the skipper, Bruce Walter, saw the opposition pick up three shots. It was anyone’s game going into the last end.

The plate was won by a strong side of Kelly Kay, Peter Nicolay, Les Wilkinson, Jack Groves.
